- Visitor and Daily Helper Data: To streamline security, residents provide details of their visitors and daily helpers, including names, contact information, vehicle numbers, purpose of visit, and uploaded images or supporting documents.
- Communication & Interaction Data: We process data related to real-time chat messages between residents, helpdesk complaints (e.g., roadblock, parking issues), feed announcements, and service ratings.
- System & Device Data: The app requires an internet connection and communicates with our servers via APIs. We collect necessary device data to facilitate push notifications and maintain audit logs.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data strictly to facilitate community management and security. Your information is used to:
- Manage resident profiles and role-based access (Residents, Security, Admin).
- Facilitate visitor check-ins, pre-approvals via QR codes, and maintain secure entry/exit logs.
- Enable the SOS feature to make emergency calls to security and neighbors.
- Process service bookings (e.g., electricians, plumbers) and collect user feedback.
- Deliver real-time community announcements, polls, and event schedules.

We retain your personal data and community logs (such as visitor history and audit logs) for as long as you remain a resident of the community or as required by law. This Privacy Policy also applies to Nepty Gate, our dedicated gated community security management application. In addition to the data described above, Nepty Gate specifically collects and processes the following information:
- Visitor Details: Name, mobile number, purpose of visit, house/flat number being visited, number of members, and entry/exit timestamps.
- Vehicle Information: Vehicle number and type of vehicle.
- Visitor Photo: Image captured at the gate for identity verification purposes.
- QR Code Data: Information scanned via QR code for pre-approved visitor access.
- SOS & Emergency Data: SOS alert triggers, timestamps, responder identity, response time, and location data (only during active emergency alerts).
- Security Personnel Details: Name, mobile number, shift timings, and gate assignment used for login and duty management.
All data collected by Nepty Gate is used solely for the purpose of gated community security management and is governed by the same data protection, sharing, and retention policies described in this document.
